Housing & Systemic Racism
A decade ago, I didn’t want to own a home and I didn’t understand the financial benefits of home ownership. Now I am a homeowner, I understand the financial benefits a bit, and (most importantly) I’m gaining an understanding of the systemic nature of housing inequities and the intergenerational impacts those inequities have on segregation, racism/antiracism, poverty, and opportunity.
